HP customer care is a joke. They exploit overseas call-centers to be able to undercut the competition with a lower price. These poor call-center people have no real knowledge of the products they are supporting. It's obvious that they read just responses from a script. You can't do customer service that way and expect to get good results. You might pay a little more for a similarly equipped laptop from another vendor but better customer service would justify the extra expense.
